Okay, so I've been thinking, BD toys look absolutely AWESOME, but see, I can't exactly afford the price tag without my parents asking "okay, seriously, why did you just blow a chunk out of your savings?!" or "you got a package! What's inside? Shooooow" *because if you refuse, they think you're on drugs or something stupid*

Basically, looking for the 'cheap' or homemade alternatives to dildos, lube, etc. etc. That are SAFE. I'm a bit of a noob with the toys thing and I'm paranoid if I stick a carrot up there *I should mention I'm a female and I have no intention of doing anal* some part of it will break off and I'll have a fascinating and embarassing visit to my doctor, who I've seen for the past... Five years... Not one on my Bucket List.

Things I've heard are no-no's? : Shampoo (especially Head and Shoulders XD )

A cuccumber would be much better than a carrot. The girth of the cuccumber and the curve are nicer too.

Some doggy toys have safe surfaces as far as edges go, along with interesting shapes. Still, I think that round/cylindrical shampoo bottles are hard to beat.

I've barely used any ghetto toys. One was a toothbrush holder, many many years ago. I was curious, it turned out ok. I only used it twice. Recently, I've used a few shampoo bottles because I was really horny in the shower.

Well you could try my ghetto toy out if you think it's your kind of thing. Just think I should mention that no female who's previously asked about the it has gotten back to me with any sort of feedback so I can't say whether or not it'll be a good experience, let alone any tips. Hairbrush handle, one of the most convenient things around.
--- Variation, have this hairbrush with a gel coated handle, so it's all squishy, kept falling out though, need a curved one.
Electric toothbrush - on vibrate (don't do bristles on your clit, it's not comfortable.)
Pencils, pens, markers - too slim, not that great.

Well, before I had enough nerve to purchased water based lube that was meant for sex, I used to use basic vaseline. I also used some vaseline hand lotion, and once in a while even conditioner. I wouldn't recommend basic vaseline for vaginal lube because it is too messy, and leaves a residue. As for conditioner, theres so many ingredients in it that probably get absorbed into the body. I wouldn't use conditioner unless there were absolutely no alternatives, and a perfect "large" cock was erect and ready to enter me.
