I'm just really obnoxiously anal (herpderp) about defined bases being a split color for some reason. :psyduck:

Re: Cherry Cordial

I made absolutely inhuman noises. I am NOT one for sale colors (I haven't liked anything besides halloween black in a long time because I am a picky bitch), but I can't resist. >_< Currently hemming and hawing over parting with some store credit to get a cherry cordial tentacle. ^_^ (And skimming th...

Re: Color Prices Adjusted!

Will there be a corresponding QC improvement on custom colors to coincide with the price hike? I stand corrected. The staff has done a really, fantastically bang-up job with QC on my order. In addition to it being a big, complicated, extremely specific order, they took several color changes in stri...

Hey guys, I found this pretty flared Chance... there's an "airbubble"/nick on the underside of the head, do you think it would be felt in use? :\ http://cdnassets.bad-dragon.com/images/inventorytoys/-2727.JPG Toy http://cdnassets.bad-dragon.com/images/inventorytoys/-2728.JPG Airbubble *fl...

Re: Smoother textured toys

The amount of 3d printer texture varies by size as well, but I can help with a few. (I have found smaller toys to generally have more 3d printer texture) Small Chance - tons of matte texture Medium Chance - very little/unnoticeable Medium Moko - none/smooth Small/Medium Clayton - none/smooth, but th...

I agree, but I said that previously and didn't want to be too pushy about it. :tinfoil:

Re: The Gate Guardian (Hell Hound)

I'll keep that in mind, the only issue I was concerned with was making it too big and having that be an issue price-wise. I was leaning toward a longish diamond shape? Heavy dose of personal preference here, but the bases on clayton/crackers/xar are my favorites, and I find the bases on the breeder...

Re: The Gate Guardian (Hell Hound)

Loving the slimmer version with the blunt head. :downs:

When you do happen to start in on the base, I would suggest making it a bit beefier in height and narrower in width (basically just chunkier overall) - both to make it easier to hold, and so it can support a tube easier in the future.

Just in case there isn't enough support to get a redo on this guy, there is always the orca from EE here . Was that the one you meant, Angel? Re: The Gate Guardian (Hell Hound)

I think the new side view is fabulous, but I wish the knot wasn't quite so wide from the top view. I am not a huge fan of knots to begin with, so I'm a bit biased. Currently it reminds me a lot of the faerie dragon's proportions, and I am not overly fond of that toy. (Though the shaft looks nice eno...

Re: The Gate Guardian (Hell Hound)

Like the design, and like the concept (though I'm not sure BD needs more canines in the lineup). The spikes will end up being more like spikey-nubs once BD gets done with them, which is fine. Xar and Clayton both have a "spikey" look and are pretty awesome toys. Yeah, really like the spike...

Re: Need advice on a warmup toy

I'm probably not going to be in the majority with this, but my absolute favorite warm-up toy is my moko. The taper is gentle and it's easy to use. It's not overly textured either, so it doesn't "steal the show" so to speak. It's also a nice toy it its own right, so I feel like it's a good ...

Re: Fast as queues! Whats the current wait time become? :o

Luck, I think. I have a custom order that just hit MQ after 6 weeks on the dot, and received a made-to-order halloween waterhorse in about two and a half weeks, total. (from order to getting the box - cheap shipping option too.)
