Re: Bad Dragon Banter

For newly purchased items, we no longer offer a warranty on insertable toys. We enacted this change on June 2014 after addressing customer concerns with Quality Control. We have stepped up our game and quality standards making our previous “manufacturing defect” warranty redundant. However, we stan...

Re: What's up with BD's "restocking" fee on custom toys?

Not unreasonable. Almost every company I've ordered from that does make-to-order goods has at least a cancellation fee. Some don't do cancellation refunds at all. It's not that they're trying to get money for work not done. They're recouping losses for time and money invested into something that ult...

Re: General wait time?

Yeah, back in the day, I think I rarely had my stuff shipped before more than a month had passed. But of course I had some larger orders, like 3 at once, and sometimes relatively involved customs, and I ordered during specific sales a lot, so everyone else was ordering the toys I was and thus tying ...

Re: You want 'em? We got 'em! FLOPS!

I was reeeally tempted by that one, Kthonya. If I thought I could use a Luka I'd be all over it or one of those infinity star rogues. TwT http://cdnassets.bad-dragon.com/images/inventorytoys/c99f94d94dea87cc4833ec5a20fb88cc.JPG Still not exactly what I want in a gryphon, but tempting. http://cdnasse...

Ah, so one of those those inconsistent matters. Ah well, everything not on the selectable options is always on a case by case basis. I wish they'd make pearlescent/glitter standard choices, it's my favorite thing. P:

Re: Bad Dragon Banter

If something's still up, the worst that can be done is the order cancelled, really. I wonder if it's possible to get that glitter on customs. There are still a few things I'd like to have before I take a break, and I am all about the sparkledick. 1000%. Always sparkledick. However, none of my pearle...

Re: What is it about BD

It's a combination of things for me. The aesthetic and customizability are big factors, the initial draw. I don't dislike any particular type of genitalia. However, realistically colored toys squick me for some reason. I have no idea why. :mystery: BD gives me unlimited options to distance myself fr...

Re: You want 'em? We got 'em! FLOPS!

I didn't save a picture. I bought the toy, so I didn't think I'd need one. D: Oh well. At least my boyfriend isn't picky, and he's wanted a gryphon since he discovered BD. He used to giggle at my indecisiveness over the exact color of silidicks. Then, one day, during a specific model's sale, I linke...

Re: You want 'em? We got 'em! FLOPS!

Yeah, the gryph is just going to be too floppy in soft, so I won't be buying that one. I want him to be thrusty, not floppy. xD Medium or possibly a firm is what I want. I've been holding out for a color I like in the right firmness FOREVER, though. xD I'd order one custom, but I don't know exactly ...

Re: You want 'em? We got 'em! FLOPS!

Hrmmmm. I didn't really envision gryph in pink, but I'm vaguely considering it. I rather like this , and it's only $50, buuut it's soft. I like my size small and my firmness medium. =o= Maybe I should just go all out and get myself a custom Royal? I think my wishlist at this point is really a gryph...

A small Elden is so wiggly in medium firm. I can't even imagine a super soft. xD

Re: Dicks within see thru dicks.

To my knowledge, BD can't do truly translucent silicone because generally it's ridiculously hard . I think I recall it being described as "tire hard." You can (or at least you used to be able to) ticket for a "translucent"; I have one myself. You can tell the difference in the co...

Re: You want 'em? We got 'em! FLOPS!

I can totally understand that. Thanks for letting us know. :) I was sort of hoping there would be, but this is probably for the best. :P My birthday was yesterday AND my payday was today, so I can afford a splurge, and there are still a few more things I'd like to get before I potentially swear off ...

Re: Bad Dragon Banter

I'm guessing the ones that look like the limited color were flops of it or just plain test runs. I wanted the Luka a bit, especially with the extinction, but I don't think I could take a Luka. =w=

Re: Forum Future Announcement

Hopping over here since there's no discussion in the Q/A threads, and I don't really have a question regarding this, just some comments. I believe that our response was misconstrued a bit. We explained that we made a decision based on previous problems we observed over a number of years - not the co...

Re: Forum Future Announcement

You can be open and communicative and human without that kind of dialog, and you certainly should be if you're telling your customers they have to do it for you. If a user said BD was scumbags not worth their time, I feel like there would be a very real possibility of disciplinary action. That user ...

Re: Forum Future Announcement

Although I'm still willing to listen at this point, this was... really not the best way to open things up, and I can't blame paradoxis. When you talking about learning how to "choose to respond," there are a number of things in this announcement which were just not good choices. I'm sittin...

Thank you for this. I'm glad to see that the forums are staying and glad to know that you're going to aim for more transparency and communication in the future. This is a good first step, and I really hope we can work toward an atmosphere that is better for both company and community. I still do hav...

Re: Forum Shutdown Announcement

Some of what's gone on in the past couple pages is exactly what I mean when I say that it's not just staff quashing criticism but aggression and dismissiveness coming from other users when people take issue with BD (and staff failing to do anything about that). This is a consistent thing. And rather...

Re: Forum Shutdown Alternatives Survey

I do wish there was somewhere for comments. I have to say, splitting things up into a gallery, review section, BD Labs section, etc. is only going to work if everything uses a single login and is truly well integrated. It has to all work together seamlessly without time and effort on the user's part...
