Re: Forums no longer linked on the front page of Bad Dragon

Going to play devil's advocate here. To be honest, I wouldn't say that the majority of what BD is doing this year is bad... Overall, the new website is 400% better than it was before. Features that we've been begging for for *years* have finally been implemented - the actual size/size comparison too...

Re: Who is king? Zaratan vs Axel

I couldn't resist. I had to get both of them in XL.

Zaratan for a nice easy warm up & to stroke the ol' p-spot for a while...

Axel to finish the job with a nice progressive ream all the way up to 11.

Oh boy, I can't wait.

Re: Bad Dragon Banter

I agree that BD has done some streamlining since the old days (the finer points of which we will not dig up again), and that they do make a little bit of a brand-name premium on their toys. Playing devil's advocate however, Zaratan does come with a *huge* base for rough riding that requires a lot of...

More: girthy toys with moderate tapers

Just putting my thoughts here... I would love to see BD produce more large anal-oriented toys that have: - 7~9.5" usable length - A moderate taper: 0.25:1~0.4:1 (ΔCircumference per Length) - 11.75~14" final circumference at widest point --- Optionally, a sizing spectrum that covers most or...

Re: Bad Dragon Banter

Really? You guys don't like Zaratan? I think Zaratan represents one of the first times BD has actually stepped out of their comfort zone and given us a truly exotic toy in a long time. The last examples I can remember of them releasing something this animal were probably with the Dolphin (discontinu...

Who is king? Zaratan vs Axel

Decisions, decisions... Looks like BD might finally be trying to make a comeback into the more exotic side with some of these new designs. Which of these latest two do you prefer? Zaratan looks to me like some kind of giant alien snake. *murr* I imagine that head would feel completely unreal going i...

Re: Equine Urethra Penetrable Toy (Drawings Included)

+ 1 would buy in a heartbeat. I want to see this happen. If BD won't bite, take this idea to the competition. BD is hardly the only exotic dong manufacturer these days. Somebody's bound to take the idea and run with it eventually. It might not be for a couple of years, but due to the lucrati...

Re: GITD and Lasers

Cardboard and heat sinks doesn't inspire so much reliability. Hehe, yeah. This was a quick and dirty project for sure. I just wanted to have some giggles and show people what can be done with a couple of cheap parts, a small investment in tools, and a few hours of spare time. Identify a problem, th...

Re: This will probably get deleted anyway

Your post is misleading in its wording, as it is stated it says mainstreaming got the to where they are now, which is not possible if it only started a few months ago. Though he probably should have explained that rather than trying to aggravate you. Didn't realize they put out that much volume :bu...

Re: GITD and Lasers

Actually, LED lights work wonders on glowing toys, in about a minute of blue leds my large ectoplasm nocturne would glow from dusk to dawn. But I have super strong leds for coral growth (around 100$ a fixture, and I have 2) so not sure if any leds would work so well. It shouldn't take very expensiv...

Re: GITD and Lasers

I'll just have to make due with LEDs. (then again, with the right LEDs you could pump out a lot more than 2W)

Feel free to ask questions if you feel you want any help or advice with prototyping a basic driver circuit, mounting to a heatsink, etc.

Re: This will probably get deleted anyway

Yeah, be offended :eyeroll: I don't think there would be an issue if you weren't trying to claim that BD's mainstreaming was what grew them into the big company they are today. Well, I'm sorry if I didn't communicate effectively. I have an autism spectrum disorder that makes it difficult for me to ...

Okay, if you want to believe that I am being the antagonist here, then I will go sit quietly in my corner. I just thought that some people might appreciate it if I put forth the effort to generate a visual depiction of BD's growth to help aid discussion here. Conical hat. Corner. Got it. Here I go. ...

Re: This will probably get deleted anyway

I don't see how BD was "mainstreaming" from 2008-early 2016. To repeat myself once again: Where did I say that BD was mainstreaming from 2008-early 2016? You are still putting words into my mouth. To re-iterate my statement in clearer terms: BD's mainstreaming has transformed them from th...

Re: This will probably get deleted anyway

"Well, as far as a sales perspective, BD's mainstreaming has transformed them from the little hand-sculpted 500 dick/year startup of 2007 and 2008 into the 50k dick/year corporation that it is today." This clearly implies they have been mainstreaming since 2008.... It clearly implies that...

Re: This will probably get deleted anyway

2008? Dude, BD didn't start all this "mainstreaming" until this past spring, 2016 Where did I state that BD started mainstreaming in 2008? If anything, their very first attempt at mainstreaming would have been 'The Ultimate Fantasy' that they first started making as an April Fool's joke. ...

Re: This will probably get deleted anyway

Oh, ignore the red line. I accidentally included a linear projection in days since DEC. 21, 2007 that I used as part of the plotting process for my data. I plotted that chart by correlating the serial numbers/Toy IDs (not order numbers) of some toys to the dates on which they were purchased as an el...
