Re: Pour a 'lil sugar on us!

Aye, that's true. I'm sorry if I came over as abrasive, not my intent (but I'm not always a star in conveying tone through text). I suppose it's more the general idea of it. For me it ties in to the toxic culture around the adult MLP fandom, and the people calling those who are squicked out by it t...

Very civil of you, dear.
There's nothing on her page that would push her to the top of an innocuous search. She's BD's cartoon pony, and nothing is directly worded so that she would be easily found by a child.

Re: Pour a 'lil sugar on us!

Just because you enjoy something does not mean you have the right to make liking and searching for this thing unsafe for children. (And the adult MLP fandom is pretty infamous for doing just that.) People are rightfully squicked out by this addition, and by the changes in the website to celebrate i...

Re: Pour a 'lil sugar on us!

Creating a toy for something popular to earn money is one thing-- BD did that with their dinosaur toys and their "Dragon Island" game. The difference is that dinosaur-themed toys will appeal to anyone who likes dinosaurs, not just Jurassic Park fans, while Sugar Star is 100% directed excl...

Re: Pour a 'lil sugar on us!

I may end up just cancelling my order over this. Edited for typos. This is really terrible to see, especially over a toy you seemed really excited for. The artist says she's of age. Not only that, but it blatantly, as pointed out by others, says she owns her own bakery. Her art is cutesy and cartoo...

Really amazing entries. Great ideas, everyone! :3 - Never fear - Iron Cat is here! Being neither iron nor technically a cat, Icee is ready to defend the earth from evil. Like any decent hero, he quickly grew a fan base once he began his heroic endeavors. The creature fed off the attention, thrilled ...

A lot of awesome Suprise Me's lately!
That's a really cool color, terranakari. Like fire and ice. :stick:

Here's my Apollo - dark blue with golden glitter. My camera doesn't capture it all too well, but I'm really happy with it.
