I originally planned some more stuff, like a topless Janine clinging to dukes side and some lingerie in his claw, but deadline was kinda tight.

I never learn if 12PM is during the day or the night, and the time difference doesn't help either :Canada:

EDIT 3: Thank-you!! It was the file size I resized the image to 25% and it worked!! I hope my entry can still be counted. If not good luck to everyone. You are all such amazing artists!!

I decided to improvise an artwork to make and boy was it an incredible suspense of racing against time. X)

About: This features Duke as Deapool ("Dukepool") defending from Razor the Doberman as Spiderman("Spidoberman")'s attack. The title of the artwork is "The Deadly Duel," used with Paint Tool SAI exclusively (original finish), (c)July 20, 2015 A.D.

NOTE: This was submitted to twitter sometime around 11:58 AM MST (AZ type, same as PST, or in other words, 3 hours behind EST) to twitter. Although I made a terrible mistake of missing a piece of the work from the bottom left, so I added it in with this picture file you see & the signature is slightly updated too (right hand corner), so I apologize immensely for the after-edit, let alone the little technical visual error from the original image back at twitter (search #BDsuperherocontest for it)

Either way, I wanted to utilize the digital drawing in the direction of an "Action Shot" (lol porno potential pun there) Here:

Hehe, thanks! You're so kind. Deadpool + Spidey makes a great gay pairing but frankly this was out of improvising due to rushing and having got back from a bunch of tiring things (& many hours of sleep) before art. Besides, it's usually not my thing to utilize such a mainstream combo even in the eyes of the Marvel community, and I DETEST mainstream-ness just about all the time. xD

Reyriders asked if you can submit more than one picture for the contest?
Arianfis pointed out the winners get announced on "Wednesday, July 23rd", so is it Wednesday the 22nd, or Thursday the 23rd?
And I'm wondering when and where the voting will start, or if it's just BD staff voting?

Humm.. I sure hope they've not gotten so busy they've forgot the contest. The mistake on the date makes it look a little rushed together and they've only tweeted about it the once, compared to the few times I've seen the minion sale tweeted. Tbh it seems a little neglected on their part, which isn't very nice when everyone has put a lot of work into their entries.
