OMG so I'm sitting here near the offices of my university sneakily reading the forums instead of studying, and then I open that spoiler. I guffawed. I'm still laughing. It's FACE! I love this!

Re: not having tools
If you don't have a digital art program due to cost, look into Krita. I use it for quick and dirty drawings and doodles. Krita is free- https://krita.org/

Don't have a graphics tablet? Try creating your images with paths. Many raster art programs have them, and they're the default tool in vector based programs. My entry was done almost entirely by using paths in Photoshop because my computer freaked out when I created a poster size template. Paths can be done easily with a mouse. (Disclaimer: I've never used paths in Krita, so I can't vouch for how easy it is to use them in that program)

Paths are about placing points and editing curves by adjusting handles, so even if you're left handed using a mouse in your right hand you should still be able to use them. As long as you can click accurately. Even if you can't, you just pick up the point or path and drag it to where you want it to be. It is a very forgiving way of creating objects and selections.

BTW: there's nothing wrong with pens and markers too. I've got a big bucket of Lettraset Trias and Prismacolors. I also would add more shading to marker drawings with soft color pencils like Prismacolor. Some gouache too if I needed something like a light blue line or painting in fire or steam. Just more or less don't write off the usefulness and versatility of paths or what you can do in digital media with the right tools and know how.

I got really good at doing this when I took a graphic design course! There's something really fun and almost soothing about manipulating straight lines into a piece of art.

A friend of mine was, "OMG, why are you going through all the trouble of using paths instead of the free form selection tool?"
And I was like, "Fuck the noise. Paths are editable and save with your file. I can use my paths six months from now with a single mighty click!"

Later they acted like they discovered the hotness of paths all on their own.

I suspect that it is going to be announced tomorrow since there is a count down clock for the 10th somewhere about. So I know they have something planned. What they have planned I don't know. That is my best guess though. :mystery:

whoops, my bad it's under the 'color' tab
although it does seem more like a placeholder image tbh (also can't imagine something that pointy as a toy)

I don't know what's funnier - this gif or the fact that somewhere there is a script for CRON that reacts to said presence of bees... :stick:
