Okay, that does it :psyduck:

Seeing all these pretties makes me want a Kage to go with the Mountain Drake I just ordered, in a gem color to go with Turquoise... Maybe opal?

Gah, it looks so tantalizing... Damn you, Chibity and your delicious lab creation! My wallet is already crying because of Xan, but it's going to be sooo worth it

Heres my spooky seconds Kage.

He's prettier in person. Doesn't glow too much though.

Unfortunately, this coloration ended up looking rather shitty in real life... quite literally.

The colors as they appear here are disappointingly accurate.

It was an adoption, so there's not much to be done about it, but... still a letdown.

Oh no! If it's any comfort, to me it looks like chocolate - like the kind hollow bunnies are made of ^.^

I guess. And maybe I'll warm up to it over time. It was just... a lot of money by the time it got here and with the Christmas budget being tight already having it be disappointing didn't leave room for much else. Even if I were to resell it, the listed adoption price was a third of what it ended up being, and I wouldn't want to charge anyone more than that. But this isn't the place for moping, I was just... I dunno. Updating people, I guess.

Wow I'm really sorry this happened :( I've seen discrepancies between the pictured adoptions and what is received but this looks a lot different, I can't even see the highlight on the toy.

The same thing happened to me. I posted earlier in this thread. It definitely was a bit of a let-down. (Kage is still a lovely toy though)

I guess Kage hasn't been a great model for color accuracy so far. :psyduck:

I just got my Kage today! He's a little off what I wanted, but I accepted him anyway when sent a photo by CS, because he's still very pretty~ He was supposed to be a bit more green, and I would have liked a lot more glitter. I'm just super happy to finally have him! :misc2:

That is unacceptable!!! I get that sometimes the lighting can make the colors seem a bit more vibrant in the adoption pictures, but sometimes the differences are so big, it comes off as false advertisement. It's a bit too deceitful and something should be done about cases such as these.

I did ticket about it, and Elise was super-helpful and I ended up getting a single-color, same-firmness replacement in Duka-Cola Quantum! It just completely slipped my mind to post an update.

Yeah, he is in soft. We are thinking about getting a new Kage in medium because this one is super soft.
