They actually didn't. Incase you were curious as to what I posted, it was a 2d image. Not the 3d renders.
I also even know why the community didnt seem interested, its because the design was hard to imagine as an actual model.
Actually, I'll just clear the whole thing up.
November: I had an idea for a design. It seemed quite unique, I haven't seen anything even remotely like it. So, I decided to start just sketching it out. The design had 3 'bulges' you could say. The head, the midshaft and the bottom. On the bottom bulge, it had almost a > thing sticking up out of it (can be seen in razr's image if you check my FA).
I did it on paper first, then took a pic with my camera and did it in illustrator. This had the bulge and everything, I could imagine the basic shape in my head. No one else could. Not to surprsing, the 2d version had absolutely no definition as to height difference. 100% flat. <--- Reason why people weren't interested. I even asked many people in IRC. I'll try to dig up the logs.
Early december: I put it into 3dsmax and got a basic sketch built. It didn't look like it, so I scrapped it and decided to use a method I learned about in zbrush. I had to get familiar with that anyways for organic modeling.
Late december: My computer starts fucking up, and zbrush now refuses to work and I also hear about EE. So I get in contact with zeeb on it because I like helping out people and he was asking. They seemed interested in getting into 3d printing. I showed him my crappy 2d sketches, he wasn't to impressed but I was told to go on with it anyways and see if it looked better in 3d.
Skip awhile down the road (I think feb?) when zbrush decides to work: Zbrush works, and im working on my toy. Zbrush isnt having a problem. I start sculpting my original idea, but its not coming out the way I want. So, instead I just come up with a variation. Thats the creation of the frost wyvern. EE liked it, and this is about when I stopped posting on BD, but a post came up about copyright and such which is located here:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=952&start=10#p18558After reading that, I decided I'll just go with EE. Awhile goes by, I post the new toy up on FA and runa chimes in that I should post it here on BD. Thats when I remember I didn't officially close my post and came here to do so.
Awhile later... I posted up my design on FA. The one im talking about is the blue one. I got on BD irc to get in contact with 2 friends who weren't on my MSN list but were in irc. People were curious as to why I needed to talk to those 2, so I let them guess. Eventually they found my design, and IIRC atleast 7 of them said they'd buy.
edit: http://pastebin.ca/1418473 <--- General. I'm waiting for people to get onto the BD irc so I can ask if they dont mind having their convo with me partially posted.
TL;DR
I closed it myself since the community couldn't imagine it as an actual model

Totally understandable, because at times it gets fuzzy for me too.
If I wanted to get the toy done by BD, I would have posted the 3d sketch.
