Orcas aren't pokey at all! the tips sort of fold over on themselves and wiggle about. Soft is most popular for maximum squish/stuff factor, but medium and firm are also nice and not pokey.

The best thing is to contact them directly with your thoughts. They will give you options, tell you what can and can't be done, offer alternatives, and tell you how much whatever would cost.

It seems that colored heads, marbled shafts, marbled bases, and colored base tips/spikes are all able to be regularly done.
I imagine highlights are possible.
Different shaft/base firmness is possible. I am not sure if the head can be a different firmness from the rest of the shaft, you will have to ask. I imagine it would be though.
But again with any of this, likely requires special pricing / EE bucks.

Today I was scrolling down my Facebook newsfeed and found this article (that a friend had liked) about the PH Splorch:

It's always interesting to read outsiders' perspectives (unless they're judgmental)

That was an amusing read, thanks for sharing!

One of the recommended videos off of the video on that article is of two girls doing alcoholic jello egg shots with their splorch.

I've been interested in Avthepornfish's stuff lately and I was wondering, is the only way to contact them through tumblr?

I quite like them. At the moment I like the mini a bit more, purely because I think the medium firm pour of the medium, is a bit too stiff for me. Don't get me wrong or anything, I still love him! I think he'd feel nicer in a soft. I actually don't find him poky, not like I assumed I might. He's actually quite smooth.

They look so interesting but I've been a lil scared to order because of the tip :D Maybe in the future. It's good to know. Thanks!

Has anyone ordered from Beastlab on etsy? I placed an order for two eggs a week ago and also sent a message about being unsure how to give instructions to do the colors but I never got replies :S

So I'm wondering if anyone else has experiences with the store and so on?

Maybe they're just busy I'm just always a lil nervous if I order something from a new place x)

Av used to operate on FurAffinity and Tumblr, yes. However, he is permanently no longer accepting commissions due to health reasons. Secondhand stuff turns up now and again. Maybe make a WTB thread.

BeastLab is decent. I have bought from him.
He is just one guy and it is not his main job, so things can be kind of slow. But always holds up.
Egg instructions should have gone in the Notes to Seller when purchasing, so just send him a message with your order number and the instructions for them.

Also, for you and anyone out there, I do not know about his eggs, personally (but the molds for those are generic, so there should not be any) but as far as dicks go... the molds have some moderate issues, and his color-matching ability is not really the best (although anyone including BD cannot guarantee perfection of course). But I don't mind because use is what really matters, and neither of those affect it.

Good to know :D I really like all tentacley shapes and orcas fall under that category too, it's probably awesome in soft, all wiggly!

I sent a message with the order so I think I did it right then :D

OH. MY. GOD! :aaaaa: I was just browsing around, and I came across the old locked other fantasy toy thread, and saw some pictures of some toys from EE with crazy colors and crazy little designs on them.... and immediately started having ideas! Oh sometimes I hate how fast my imagination works. >.<

So how do you get crazy cool markings on toys from them? Obviously I should contact Exotic Erotics themselves for details, but I just wanted to ask here and see what people here might know and what experiences anyone's had with ordering/getting custom colors and designs from EE. I've never gotten anything from them, but I'm getting interested in some of their toys.

(apologies if this information is right in front of my face, I've been awake 24 hours + so brain not working well. Feel free to smack me with a silicone dick if you feel I deserve it. ;) )

It is just that. You must contact them.

The ability to customize and detail depends highly on the model, the size, and the firmness, and what you're willing to pay.

It's also possible details were experimental or a fluke, and not something they could recreate.

It also bears reminding that silicone is a liquid medium, and results may not be perfect. An example would be if someone wanted crisp polka dots- this is pretty impossible, though a few may end up as such.

Typically, to order anything custom from them, you contact them. You talk about what you want and what's possible, and then they tell you how to order (for example, say you wanted a two-color striped toy... you would select the model size and firmness, choose two custom colors, and then have to add however many EE bucks to cover the work/time of making stripes. You would then, when checking out, put hexes, references, and a general reminder in the notes when checking out.)

You do not have to contact them for something that could be ordered, ie, a normal split with custom colors. But for additional details or patterns or marbling types, or highlights, or equines with soft heads and medium or firm shafts... you must.

I just ordered 2 custom toys from Frisky Beast--my first purchase from them.

I purchased a small/medium Cybersaur and a small/medium Mechanical Animal 1.5.
The Cybersaur is going to be based off of Transformer Prime's Knock Out and the Mechanical Animal 1.5 based on Breakdown.

I'm so super excited o see what they come up with! I gave them designs originally, but they said it would have required a ton of hand painting and would've cost a lot of extra money, so I opted to let them take my designs and interpret it how they'd like with the color I chose, and see what they come up with. They offered to let me see photos of the designs before the ship it as well so I am also very pleased with that, too.

I can't wait to see what they come up with.. ;u;

So I seen some brood eggs on FB that really interested me...I really want the cold front/heatwave ones but I'm also really offput by all the complaints about wait times and poor customer service.
Is this the majority or just a vocal minority of FB?

Also Blue ritual had eggs as well and between the two, which one would you all recommend I buy from?

I think the main reason why people are off-put by FB is that they're inconsistent. One order will be out the door super quickly while the next will take an incredibly long amount of time. They don't always reply to emails. I've only ordered sample eggs from them, and they were mailed out by the end of the week. I've heard of other people waiting for months for a single egg.

I personally haven't ordered from BR, so I can't speak for her.

Eggs are fun and they're probably one of my most favorite toys, but keep in mind that they're pretty high in demand and custom colors may take a long time in the queue with little to no contact from the company.

For eggs, which one you buy from depends on what you want. FB is the only company that does the temperature sensitive colorings, and also offers eggs with retrieval cords, which may be important to you depending on how you want to use them. BR doesn't have cords, but does offer fully custom colors. FB at the moment only does certain color options, mystery, or guided mystery. FB is also cheaper, if that matters.

I have eggs from both and the quality is good.

As for wait times and customer service, the wait times at a lot of places right now are long and FB is about on par with some others in getting out orders at the moment. Certain types of orders (pure mysteries/minis/eggs) tend to go out quicker, but their estimated wait time is listed as 5-6 weeks. BR also said she is pushing 2 months right now. Customer service has always been nothing but nice and helpful when I've contacted them for both. Keep in mind they're basically one person operations.
