It didn't have as much white as I hoped, and the blue was a wee bit different too, but I still love this thing to pieces.

Does anyone happen to have any good ideas for a model/colours for a Darkrai and Dusknoir?

Been thinking about a Darkrai theme one myself!
So far, the ideas i've had have been:

Nocturne
Crackers (the ridges near the base really remind me of darkrai's necklace/thingamajig)
Trent ?
Scorn ?
Vasu ?

as well as a few quick-and-dirty photoshops:

As for Dusknoir, maybe something with more girth might fit well?
(not too sure on that one)

i have found this site to be very helpful in finding colors

And it is DEFINITELY a tasty one. Very, very much so.

And it also has me slightly addicted to working out more PokeBD toys I want to have made. :stick:

I ADORE GHOSTS. They're my top favorites.

Sooooo... I don't know if these general ideas strike your fancy, but Xar and Flit kind of struck me as having that more bulky look that would suit a Dusknoir, but also be not as square and stuff like Stan or one of the equines. I get the impression it'd have an ever so vaguely sooooomewhat humanoid shape, but still be pretty different. Just a thought!

I think Flint suits it better with the shape, but the base one color and shaft the other that Xar has can make the colors a bit more 'Dusknoir'.

Duuuude, that palette guide-thingie is the BEST! ... And now I'm going to mess around with it to create pretty things~
And love the Nocturne for Darkrai~ ... Come to think of it, I wonder if it's possible to have the pigment be red, but GITD blue? (I forget what the two blues are called, but it'd probably be the sky/turquoise blue, which matches his eyes better.)

... So after downloading as many templates as I could of the toys and fiddling around in GIMP, I came up with one for Dusknoir and one for Darkrai.

And as much as I love Nocturne for Darkrai, there isn't a blank template yet, so I did Pretzal~ (The bumps remind me of his pretty spiky red necklace~) ... I forget how blue glowing pigment works with red non-glowing pigment, so this combination might not actually work, but if it's possible, I'd want it!

... I'm still a novice at designing dick colours, but so far it's pretty fun~ <33

They look pretty fantastic!
That Dusknoir one really does come out looking pretty darn sweet.

And the same definitely goes for the Darkrai ones. Hard to say which is better between the straight red and the glow, because they both are pretty awesome. I kind of like the red, myself.

Even though mine is based off of Ampharos, it might help in deciding what model you want your Dusknoir to be. :)

Just probably ended up with a second one. Wouldn't be the first person to have a custom order and see a version of it pop up in inventory.
Things are looking up.

I totally forgot I have a Waterhorse, jokingly said it would make a great Lugia dick, and a friend actually drew me that as art gift. How could I even forget :psyduck:

Pokemon-themed toys are my favorite kind of toys to base characters off of! [next to MonHun monsters. :stick: ]

This is definitely a thread I can get behind!

I don't have the money for anything currently, but I've been heavily thinking of getting a dick based on a Feraligatr or a Nidoking in the future... Both are too awesome. :misc2:  Now to decide on their models... :misc1: :smilenox:

The picture is upside-down!

The EE Reptilian? Or the FB Mosasaur(I think?)? I could see both of them being Feraligatr-esque.

I've actually thought of one of EE's models for a Feraligatr. Although it might seem a little unimpressive for some, their Croc would fit the 'mon. :smilenox: I think the Raptor might as well and could lend for a little more of a unique design (if I felt like it).
A Reptilian is a good choice as well! But I think I have other plans for a far-off future Reptilian. Maybe an idea, though. Simple as it is, your's looks nice.

Some BD toys might fit the 'mon, too. He seems pretty versatile that way!

If I wasn't so busy, I'd do some mock-ups. :unamused:
