On a somewhat unrelated note, looking at that picture makes me think that jumping into a pile of colorful silicone dongs would be the absolute epitome of fun! It would be like jumping into one of those ball pits, or a pile of leaves on a fall day....Only much, much better. .....Maybe.

I must admit there was something satisfying about seeing my order ship about 12 hrs after ordering. Even though I won't get it until next week, maybe I need to move closer to AZ?

This may tempt me into getting the speedier (and more expensive) shipping option if I order on a day where the alternative is waiting over the weekend since I'll be able to tell for sure now! Besides that though it's much appreciated, not that I've had to wait very long previously

Thanks! It has definitely made the wait more tolerable/exciting! But one question: are the orders considered shipped when Bad Dragon has printed the label and its ready for pickup, or when it has actually been shipped and in the courier's hands?

no, not even a question xD clearly they've altered their shipping practices to make certain that shipping happens either the day of ordering or the day after, no exceptions. though all it takes to ship is getting the toy in the box with a label put on - fedex picking it up and getting it on its way might take longer. heck, my order 'shipped' on friday and is still in phoenix xD

I think the only way that might come close to happening, is if *all* of the stock was bought at once. And even then I'd imagine they'd stay up all night to pack/label everything.

I was just thinking....an outdoor gear deals site I used to shop on called Steep N' Cheap had an option where you choose to hold shipping for a week to add more inventory items to your order and they'd all ship together for one shipping price. How AMAZE-BALLS would it be if we could scope adoptions/drops for at least a few days (maybe one working week?), paying for each toy as you go to "hold it"...I'm always so tense closing out an order, not knowing if I should wait a day or two to see if anything else shows up or goes on sale, then kicking myself if it does (or kicking myself if I waited and someone else snagged it) I'd totally pay a slightly higher batch shipping rate if need be, rather than the flat amount each and every time, and I'd hope it would be more cost effective for Bad Dragon as well, not having to pack as many individual orders (and maybe sell more volume?)

Ah well, or I could just have self-control

Really it isn't too hard to ship out a large amount of orders that are premade. The place I work at our shipping team is about 3 or less people on a regular day (one to get the items out of the bins, one to pack, and one to print labels and mark as shipped). We have an inventory of close to 10,000 items right and get about 150-200 orders a day. While I imagine some days BD can have double, maybe triple or more so a day... I also imagine they have a shipping team larger than 3 or less people.

I like the new promo, as it means if I order on a weekend my toys will ship Monday, which basically guarantees I will get them by Friday.
