actual size page broken?

Postby s3v3r » Tue Nov 07, 2017 2:13 am

I notice ever since the new BD website launched the new feature of being able to see the accurate size of a toy by using a credit card and adjusting that slider to fit, well it seems no matter how big the slider goes the credit card appears like the top is cut off from the page. I've tried it on chrome, IE, and firefox but it still seems as though the top is cut off. I just figured I'd make a post about it to see if anyone else has the same problem before I submit a ticket about the problem. thanks
i have no idea what im doing :psyduck:

I had that issue on the first day and I haven't used the sizing tool since. I also didn't find it that helpful, so I've just ignored it.

See my profile for a list of the toys I own. Please do not solicit me about selling any of my toys.

I think that's the way the tool is, I mean, you only need the long of the card to calibrate, not all of it. I also tried it in two screens and seems right (consider that you are comparing a 2D with a 3D and is tricky)
Resistance is futile.

The same for me. The longuest part of the card is enough to calibrate.

Unfortunately, on my 14" laptop, I have to scroll up and down to see some toys.
I tried to connect my 55" tv screen but the size remains too big even with the cursor at its smallest point.

It works perfectly on a 39" screen.

Did you try adjusting the size of the webpage on your 55" TV?

I'll give it a try next time!

one thing I notice is that if you right click on the card and open the image in a new tab you can see the whole card is there. So I think that most of the problems are being cause by the size of the scaler itself. I don't use the size tool much either but then again I haven't bought anything from BD since the site revamp -i got no money :crying: Also I don't like how the size measurements of the toys can only be seen through the actual size page
i have no idea what im doing :psyduck:

To me, when credit card is right sized, and when I place my toys in front of the screen, their size matches perfectly.

How about some measurements. Do you guys all have the same sized credit card?

All credit cards have the same universal standard size, adjusted to the golden ratio. So unless you use another type of card that is not that, that can not be the problem.
Resistance is futile.

For me if i size the card right, then the toys fit pretty well. :mystery:
