anybody know what a calcium build up in your abdomen means...the report said calcium (Some word wiht a P i can't remember) and I'm over worrying myself about it tbh so I was like okay does anyone here possibly know anything even if its bad...my doctor is waiting for ER CT scan results before she will discuss anything with me..the ER doctor didnt mention this to me though when she got the results only the kidney stone i had and cyst on my ovaries. I would think if it was serious that the ER doctor would mention it but my doctor's reaction has me worried. So i was wondering if anyone was knowledgeable about this.

yeah i'm having a lot of health problems right now lol

Also a curious thought. And I mean zero offense to this so please no one take it the wrong way. But I'm curious, i know most of my health issues is due to weight. Though I'm like why is it people i know who are bigger have less health issues. I don't understand this lol

ER doctors generally only fix the worst things and very short term fixes at that. The reason why your doctor reacted differently is because they are all about long term health. Trust your doctor. I know it's frustrating not knowing but things take time. It could be a number of things.

No, I can't go outside and wander the town trying to find where it's coming from, though I'd like to, so I can call the police with a noise complaint. I can't be in my room in my own apartment, or almost any other room in the place because of that dog. I do feel sorry for the poor thing, just left outside in this weather and left to bark, but at the same time my sanity is about to seriously give way and I am scared for myself.

Perhaps talk to animal control about it? I know it's hard because you don't know exactly where it is but maybe they can find the poor dog. It obviously needs help. I don't understand why people get dogs only to make them lawn ornaments. It's fall/winter there right? That dog must be freezing.

We don't have animal control where I am. The closest unit would likely be 3 hours away. Everyone in this town seems to leave their dogs outside and no one will do anything about it. :sniffing:

Now that I have a name to the jaw clenching I do at night (Bruxism!), there is a whole new world of stuff to Google :surprised:

It's never hurt me before so I didn't think it was a problem, but apparently it's wearing down my teeth faster than normal. Never grinding, sometimes chewing on my cheek, and often clenching jaw absentmindedly during the day and while sleeping.

It's so hard to remember to take everything with a grain of salt when it's all new to you. I'm trying not to freak out about the night guard my dentist is prescribing me (NTI), but it's hard to be calm with people complaining left and right about how it shifted their teeth or didn't help.

Make sure you let your doctor know what vitamins you're taking!

And I have no clue about calcium build up, but I know that generally you need Vitamin D in order to properly synthesize calcium in your diet. Maybe taking a walk outside in the sunshine could help? :psyduck:

oh yeah difinately! Iaalways make sure to let my docs know of meds lol hell in the ER i bring a bag of vitamins and meds I'm on at the time

and oooo Vitamin D I haven't heard of that. I think I will get some of those while I'm out as well. The vitamin I heard of was vitamin K2. I don't see why taking both would hurt. But ugh I definitely need to get outside more as well. I plan on helping my mom with gardening and yard work this entire summer as much as I can so that will be good.

I just need to get in better health all together. This is all the scare I needed to do so. I'm going to do a weight management thing at my normal doctor and of course do work on diet and exercise at home. Plus I can get a tan going outside lol

You can get Vitamin D for free from sunshine, but I guess supplements could work too. That's why you see the majority of milk fortified with vitamin D :)

Health scares suck. I hope that you can get in a routine that works well for you!

Vit D thing (if anyone reads): I used to work in a pharmacy & a lot of the time, even staying all day in the sun isn't enough for absorption! The vitamin is just kind of a helper!
add, depression, anxiety. thanks mother nature.

Well at least it's a very small camera.

Seriously though, at least something is finally being done. :)

At least it'll finally get done, and that's the important thing. I wouldn't stress about it. You're totally put out when the procedure is done and won't feel anything. You will be sore for a few days following, but it's nothing horrendous so try not to be concerned. It's OK to be a little nervous about it, but don;t allow that nervousness to consume you for the next full month. That's wasted energy and wasted life.

Got halfway through the chapter I started today, which is further than I thought I'd get. I think I'm done for tonight though. Managed to avoid buyer's remorse despite all the pretty drops in adoptions today, so that's another good thing. I don't know if I'm going to do some reading now (I know I'll do some reading later since I go offline after 1030p when possible) or if I want to play some Fire Emblem on my DS Lite, or if I want to write some. Hmm.

Thanks Dasher, I'll try. I'm not to worried about the camera/procedures. I'm more worried about what they might find is wrong. I'm hoping for just a fissure/hemi. But what if it's worse and I end up with a bag the rest of my life. My careers would be over, and I have no clue what I would do. That's my biggest fear at the moment.

It's OK to be nervous about what might be found and I think anyone would be. But don't let the fear of possibly nothing, ruin your next full month. It's a month of your life you won't get back, because of worry. Don't needlessly stress unless you're actually told that your situation is a dire one.

Tonight is going to be one of those nights when my depression just gets to me.

Someone pointed out a flaw and just kept jabbing their finger into the raw wound.
