Toy Designing Tutorial! (3D – Sculptris)

I can't seen to figure out how to open my SC1 files for this program I'm not sure what to do. I can't save or open anything for Sculptris. Can anyone help?

I just downloaded this and so far I'm pretty dumb with it
The only thing I've managed to make so far is a kind of lopsided cone thing. Pretty far from my intention but It's a start.

I'm having most trouble shaping things and making everything look nice, my computer being really laggy doesn't seem to be helping, but hey at least it's working at all.

I have a tip though for people who don't have a mouse mouse to zoom in and out.
This was a big problem from me, but I found a way that works on my computer.

Press and hold alt while clicking your mouse simultaneously, this goes into the more where you can move it around. Move it a little. Then, while still holding down the left mouse button, release the alt button. If you move your mouse up, while still holding it down it will shrink, if you move it down it will get bigger.

How do you make swirls? i've been having a bit of trouble on sculptris myself.. or maybe it's the design i would like to do is too complicated.
